If my business was a person and I could ask her higher self a question I would ask “what is your intention you put forth into the world for those who come to you?” When I sit with the heaviness of this inquiry I know the answer immediately: I want to evoke a connection for others to their higher selves so that they may feel empowered to trust their own insight, intuition and healing journey. I am happy to be the initiator, or facilitator that will help you dive deeper, give insight and even connect you to the souls who surround you and their important messages, but any kind of reliance on me for services I need to step away from.
It all started when the pandemic become global news, March of 2020. The energy leading up to this was thick and astrologers, Witches; energy workers knew there was a shit storm coming (I repeatedly said this on my public platforms). People started searching for hope and the energy workers of the world suddenly got a whole lot busier. There was a gut reaction for every single person around this time whether some wanted to admit it or not, and our biggest fears started rising to the top. For me it was money, for some it was being in this alone without a partner, and for others it was to tell others to not give into fear, which was in my opinion the most fearful people of all trying to act like fear in itself was a toxic syrup they could choose not to drunk. Often times the ones telling others how to react are the ones who wont let themselves even feel fear or the vulnerability this emotion brings and they end up projecting all over the place. As a working medium I became the place people would come to in search for hope, for any kind of light at he end of the tunnel, and that need to be reassured was constant and frequent. This is by no means a judgement of any kind; trust me when I say I am not the exception to this. In fact I even got caught up in it and felt it was my duty to do as many “free” or discounted readings as I could thinking I was some kind of larger than life psychic who was shifting the pain of the world. Then I realized something, I am not the all and powerful OZ, and if you’ve seen “The Wizard of OZ,” you know that OZ is literally an old white dude hiding behind a curtain pretending to be an all-knowing wizard while Dorothy and her friends do the real shadow work. Spoiler alert that is exactly what a “healer” is – a human person who helps you facilitate and ignite your own healing. So what does this all have to do with my mediumship readings? In a word, everything! My intent, my mission, the whole reason I do what I do is to really connect to the energy and soul of a person so that when they leave they feel like they have a better sense of the energy that surrounds them, and what they’ll be working through for the net few months. Repetitive readings focused on predicting the future, no matter how good and accurate I am at it does not serve a greater purpose in my opinion. Just because I am good at something doesn’t mean I have to do it. I realized I have a special talent to tap into future and future predictions, in fact I pride myself on a very high success and accuracy rate in doing this, but what greater good does it serve, and further more is it even ethical? I don’t know what the answer to those questions are, and that is the truth, but I know how I want to show up for my wonderful and amazing clients in the future and it is not as a rub your belly oracle who tells you the future, that you come way to frequently too because you don’t realize the power in which your own intuition can guide you.
There is another reason I stopped doing mediumship readings permanently too. We are in a global pandemic and things look bleak. In order to prefect the future I need to actively see myself there and the future I see currently is surrounded by darkness, hard truths and the unthawing or dug up shit of systemic oppression, hidden monsters that assault and abuse children and death, death and more death. I have noticed a real shift in my clientele as most flock to the love and light, positive pushing energy workers (no shade), while I am seeing things a little darker, and that is okay, but it also doesn’t feel good to tell someone “sorry, no, I don’t see a partner in the next 8-10 months.” I have had clients leave so upset that even though they were perfectly nice I vomited as soon as they left from the intensity of their grief over the reading that I gave. A lot of people say they want the cold hard truth when in fact I have had about 15% of clients who actually mean it.
So where does this leave me, well, it leads me to a slightly different service I am really excited about. Something that feels so in alignment with me, but also with the energy of what is so needed on the collective level right now. My new service REIKI-READS! This is a service where the session starts out with reiki energy healing, and gives me the time I need to connect to what is happening in your physical body, auric field, and energetic points within your body. It allows me to clear away stagnant energy, cut energetic chords, then sit down with you and do a reading based on what I found and how you can realign with yourself moving forward. The reading after it is more focused on re-confirming to you what is going on in your immediate life, and any future information that comes up is only communicated with what is already in your energetic field meaning happening within the next 6-8 months, however that is not the focus of the reading. It is about reconnecting you to yourself and pampering your energy field with the energetic love it needs to feel supported during these unprecedented times.
